Bringing Grandfathers to Boot Camp
I was thinking of signing up my dad to go with me to BCND. I want to get him involved with our new baby as soon as possible and I think he would be very receptive to the program. I also think it would be great father/son time for the two of us. Do other people bring a grandfather with them to training or is it best for just the dad to go alone?
There are a lot of great reasons to invite your own father; this occurs on occasion and it works out for everyone in the workshop. Having a grandfather appreciate our commitment to being the best fathers possible is great for dads-to-be to hear. He will provide you a strong support system within your own family, which is rare. Go for it, and let me know how it turns out.
