Sleeping Through the Night

QUESTION:

I have a 6 month old baby boy. I know all babies are not the same, but I was hoping that he would sleep through the night and he still does not. He eats well before his bed time, which is about 7:30pm. But he wakes up about 2 times a night for his bottle. We feed him about 6oz of formula. Will we ever sleep through the night? What can we do?

ANSWER:

Work towards being up only one time at night by seeing if he will take more than 6 oz. before he goes down and at night feedings. Brand new babies cannot be “sleep trained” but 6 month olds can be, so check out info on baby sleep basics.

Good luck
